Landscape Installation Foreman

The Landscape Installation Foreman is responsible for all aspects of landscape installation aside from hardscapes. This includes but is not limited to plant installation, grading, sod installation, drainage projects, site demo, etc. The Foreman will maintain a high level of service and communication with the customer, crew members, and managers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read landscape planting and site plans.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment such as skid steer loaders, Dingo, tillers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and other had tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of various plants and ability to identify plant material.
  • Ensure that entire crew operates safely and efficiently.
  • Responsible to reporting defects with trucks/equipment to Manager.
  • Use safe refueling practices.
  • Loading/unloading trucks and trailers.
  • Responsible for quality control to ensure a high-level of service to the client.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • 2 Years’ experience in landscape installation.
  • Valid Driver’s License. 
  • Ability to drive a truck and trailer.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English Language.
  • Ability to communicate instructions and delegate to staff.

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job are dictated by the Ohio Driver’s License requirements.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position is performed in outside weather conditions.
