Landscape Maintenance Foreman
The Landscape Maintenance Foreman is responsible for all aspects of maintenance, equipment operation, crew direction, job quality, and job budgets for such tasks as pruning, bed maintenance, edging, mulching and fall cleanup services. The Foreman will maintain a high level of service and communication with the customer, crew members, and managers.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of various plants and maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of when and how to maintain different types of plant material.
- Ensure that entire crew operates safely and efficiently.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as string trimmers, hedge sheers, backpack blowers, chainsaws and other hand tools.
- Responsible to reporting defects with trucks/equipment to Manager.
- Loading/unloading trucks and trailers.
- Safe refueling practices.
- Responsible for quality control to ensure a high-level of service to the client.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- 2 Years’ experience in landscape maintenance.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English Language.
- Ability to communication instructions and delegate to staff.

Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position is performed in outside weather conditions.
